First of all, hard drive... er, incident. I was having problems with programs crashing/no longer starting and a few performance issues, so I figured I'd reinstall windows. I've done it before; boot with CD, choose settings, it reverts OS to factory defaults, documents safe, and what have you.
Well, it decided to do things differently this time, and without giving me an option of any kind... well, let's just say that all .blend files prior to 2009 are gone
Good news is I bought a new monitor; dual-screen once more
They were all out of the 22" widescreens I wanted, so I settled for a 21.6" wide. Lol.
In other news, I've been learning flash and actionscript3 for some time now, and I'm hoping to have something presentable one of these days. I'll probably just start of doing remakes of classic games until I learn how to make something fun, or at least original
Also, tutorials. I'm planing on writing more of them on Blender. My todo list so far:
- Artifacts - explaining the different types of artifacts/model anomalies and how they can be corrected.
- Modeling tips - this one's kinda generic. Basically, I was planning on writing about some modeling problems I've come across (and solved). This is going to be more of a series though, not just one tutorial

And that's about it

Destiny is not a matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It's not a thing to be waited for - it is a thing to be achieved.
