Tree Planet

I knew Blender had support for instances, but I never really used it. So here's my first real try with landscape

Blender and Cycles. 240k trees, ~8 billion faces (probably closer to 16 billion, if you're counting triangles). This is no where near the limit for me, but it did push Cycles to its limits; kept crashing my video drivers. I ended up using the cpu over the gpu for stability.

Also, any more trees and it starts to look too cluttered.
